Warrnambool battle of the bay – 13 December
Get ready for an action-packed day on Victoria’s southwest coast as the Shaw and Partners World Ocean Series heads to Warrnambool for the Battle of the Bay. Athletes will take on challenging surf conditions and fast racing formats, testing skill, speed, and endurance in a spectacular setting. Join us on 13 December for thrilling competition, community spirit, and the unmistakable energy of the Series as it rolls into Warrnambool.
Boat, Ski, Board and Swim Carnival
Warrnambool SLSC is pleased to be running the Battle of the Bay carnival as part of the Shaw and Partners World Ocean Series on Saturday December 13.
This is a relaxed carnival that covers the basic disciplines of swim, ski and board in a short half day format. Additionally this year will include boats with the VSRL running a boat carnival from 11am. Competitors and their families are also encouraged to stay the night and enjoy a social get-together in the clubrooms afterwards involving presentations followed by a fun night.

Can make up composite teams if you don’t have enough numbers but no club points.

Points
> Individual Events: World Open Series points awarded to first 20 competitors in the swim, board, ski and iron
events for each age group.
> Team Events: Points to your club for board and ski relays, Taplin and Aqua Cameron.
Prizes and Trophies for individual and team events to be presented in clubrooms from 6pm.

$35 entry fee via Live Heats
Entries close December 8
Accommodation
If staying the night the easiest option is to stay at Surfside Holiday Park which is adjacent to the beach/club
and has cabins along with van sites.
