The Surf Coast is gearing up to host the final round of the Shaw and Partners Southern States Showdown, and with everything still to play for, there’s no better place to close out the series than Lorne. Set on one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline in southern Victoria, Lorne brings serious surf heritage — home to the iconic Pier to Pub and host of the 2008 World Championships.
Athletes will go all-in for the last 5,000 points on offer as the leaderboard tightens and the season reaches its defining moment. With clean Victorian ocean conditions, a vibrant summer crowd and the pressure at its peak, the Lorne 5,000 is shaping up as a spectacular finale to the Southern States Showdown.
