It is my pleasure to welcome athletes, supporters and visitors to the Hayden Kenny Classic. This iconic event celebrates surf skills, determination and the strong spirit of competition, while showcasing the very best of our coast.

We are honoured to host you in an internationally recognised UNESCO Biosphere, where our distinctive landscapes – from ocean to hinterland – highlight the importance of balance between people and nature. It is this connection that makes the Sunshine Coast such a special place to compete, explore and relax.
