9. The Mermaid Board Class in Coffs Harbour — Tom Ryan, Connor Maggs and Cruz McKee

One club , Three athletes. One extraordinary race. The board class final at Shaw and Partners Coffs Harbour 5,000 brought together Tom Ryan, Connor Maggs and Cruz McKee for a battle that will go down as one of the great head-to-head exchanges in recent history. It was epic to see these three young lads go at it.

8. Charlotte Bowmer's Golden Ticket Moment

You don't have to be the favourite to make history. Under-17 Race One Surfcraft golden ticket holder Charlotte Bowmer proved that when she crossed the line first in the Shaw and Partners World Ocean Series Sunset 10,000 swim race. Ethan Callaghan is a beast ! Ethan announced himself to the Shaw and Partners world Ocean Series stage in emphatic fashion this season. First the Port Macquarie win a performance full of maturity and composure and then to back it up with a result at the Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic, one of the most prestigious events on the calendar. 1. Carla Papac

Within inside an hour Carla won two races ! Where do you even start with Carla Papac this season? The answer is simple you start at the finish line, because that's where she kept ending up. Season after season, Carla has been the standard by which women's racing is measured, and 2025/26 was no different.
