Across two huge days, Australia’s top Ironmen and Ironwomen, along with the nation’s best board, ski and swim talent, will battle in fast, technical and high-intensity racing on one of the country’s most dynamic stretches of coastline. Big crowds, big stakes, and big performances the Maroochy Classic always delivers, and 2026 is shaping up to be its biggest edition yet. We aren’t going to name names but there are some big names that need a result here, to have a shot at the Shaw and Partners World Ocean Series overall title in their respected events.

Well after the weekend that was down in Manly as we look to the weekend conditions look ideal to race in with 2 foot and light winds for both days. A bit of a contrast to last weekend. There is one thing for certain and that’s there will be new story lines come out of the weekend has we edge closer to the final rounds of the Shaw and Partners World Ocean series. Zig Zagging across the World and Australia this season and we are about close a chapter on the season in four weeks at the most converted weekend in the sport .

Looking ahead to The Murphy homes Maroochy classic there is an ambuscade of things to be excited about from an 80k prize pull to an exciting finals package Saturday arvo it will all be happening this weekend. Maroochydore are a proud club and, in that Maroochydore, slsc have plenty of athletes that have a genuine chance of winning multiple events this weekend.
