As the Shaw and Partners World Ocean Series heads back down the Pacific Highway for the Coffs Harbour Craft Carnival, it’s set to light up Park Beach once again. Presented and hosted by the Coffs Harbour Surf Club, this iconic stop on the series returns on Saturday, 15 November 2025, bringing together some of Australia’s best surf athletes for a full day of high-energy racing and coastal culture.
This carnival carries a rich history — it’s the 51st time it’s been run — and that tradition continues this Saturday. Athletes are travelling from across the East Coast to Coffs Harbour, ready for a massive weekend of racing. From the iconic Big Banana to stunning beaches and great local restaurants, Coffs offers the perfect backdrop for competitors and supporters alike.
With Park Beach delivering its trademark mix of beauty and unpredictability, the stage is set for a classic Coffs showdown — fast, fun, and full of community spirit. Get ready for a weekend that celebrates surf sport, the ocean, and the vibrant heart of Coffs Harbour.

PRIZEMONEY
The prize pool for the event will reward participants across various categories as follows:
U15s – 1st = $100, 2nd = $50 & 3rd $25 TOTAL $175 each event
U17s – 1st = $100, 2nd = $50 & 3rd $25 TOTAL $175 each event
Open – 1st = $200, 2nd = $100 3rd =$50 TOTAL $350 each event
Open Mixed double ski 1st = $200
Masters all events 1st = $50
Relays 1st = $300
Open Mixed Taplin 1st = $1200
PREDICTIONS
With entries still open, there is a genuinely high-calibre field of athletes heading to Coffs Harbour. Everyone is realising just how valuable a 5,000-point win is — the equivalent of placing ninth at a 10,000-point round. It’s super exciting to see elite athletes committing to these events, chasing points, and enjoying a weekend away in Coffs.

Coffs Harbour Surf Life Saving Club extends a big welcome to you all. We are trading Friday night – Gourmet pizzas are on offer from 5:30pm (Order at the Bar). Happy Hour 3:30pm – 5:30pm. The club will be open until 10pm. Please book a table on 02 66 529870 to secure a space. Join our Stack Team App ‘Craft Carnival 25 & WOS 5000’ for communication. High VIS rash vets will be available for pick up Friday from 4:30pm at the club. Available Saturday morning until 7:45am. A BBQ will be on the beach throughout the day with drinks. A trailer over flow area is available in the Creek Reserve West of the carpark.
